Commercial Edgers

If you want to add new flower beds to your property, or cut a beautifully angled edge on existing flower beds, a commercial edger is the answer.

Do-Cut Sales & Service has commercial edgers manufactured by Brown and EZ Trench, and are in stock at both locations in Warren and Canfield Ohio.
When your want to cut new beds, it is best to mark the edges and design with paint.  Cutting the new edge is easy with a commercial edger.  Once the edge is cut with a commercial edger, you will have to remove the turf by hand or with a sod cutter.

Brown Bed Edgers

Brown commercial edgers are super powerful and very versatile.  Brown commercial edgers are powered by Honda or Kohler engines.  The most popular Brown commercial edgers are steerable bed edgers. They are available in 7 and 9 horsepower.

  • The maximum edging depth on this commercial edger is either 7 or 9 inches, depending on the model.  This type of commercial edger has steerable rear wheels.
  • When using this commercial edger, you actually pull it backwards to cut a beautiful straight or curved edge.  This powerful commercial edger is equipped with a 4-inch bed edging blade that has two “v” shaped edges, and cuts a perfect angled edge.
  • Other commercial edgers within the Brown line are Redefiners, Bantam, and Trenchmaster Bededgers. None of these commercial edgers are steerable.  The Redefiner 5.5 horsepower commercial edger has a similar “v” edge rotor, but will only cut 3 ½ inches deep. It is not steerable, and is primarily used to touch up existing beds.
  • The Bantam commercial edger is available in 6.5, 7 and 9 horsepower models, with a maximum depth of 5 or 7 inches depending on the model. These units are not steerable.  T
  • The Bantam series commercial edger is lighter and more portable than the BedEdger series.  There is also a Bantam Mole designed for installing low voltage wire and invisible dog fencing.  Also, the Redefiner and Bantam commercial edgers do not have as many blade options as the steerable bededger commercial edgers.  The Trenchmaster commercial edgers are not steerable and come with larger trenching blades but they can be used as a commercial edger by replacing the trenching blade with the proper bededging rotor.
  • Brown steerable commercial bededgers have a variety of edging rotor blades.  Most typical commercial edgers come with a 4-inch bededging blade, but options are available in 3”, 5”, 6” and 7” with the double “v” ends to create a commercial, angled edge.
  • Brown steerable bededger and Trenchmaster commercial edgers can perform a variety of jobs if the correct rotor blade is installed.  These commercial edgers can be used to install irrigation lines, invisible fencing, cable wire, downspouts, curbing, landscape timbers and more.  The Trenchmaster commercial edger can accommodate a rotor blade that will dig a 13 inch trench, and even a stump grinding rotor.
  • Brown also makes their Edgemaster commercial edger series.  This heavy-duty commercial edger has a flat blade and is ideal for large property managers, municipalities and those who need a commercial edger to edge sidewalks.
  • It has all steel construction with a half inch spindle and adjustable curb wheels ensures lasting power and durability.  A dual-purpose tension lever engages the blade and adjusts the blade depth.  This commercial edger is heavy-duty, all steel construction and will provide years of reliable service in any commercial application.

EZ Trench Edgers

EZ Trench commercial edgers are their Bedscaper series.

  • This commercial edger is powered by a centrifugal clutch that is bathed in oil and edges between 2 and 4 inches deep.
  • The EZ Trench Bedscaper can trench up to 7 inches deep, install concrete pavers, landscape timbers, low voltage lighting or invisible fencing with the proper blade installed.
  • Large, steerable rear wheels allow this commercial edger to be maneuvered to cut beautiful, curved edges.
Commercial edgers are used primarily by professional landscapers, municipalities and large commercial property maintenance departments.
